Dr. Edward W. Bogle, was the President and CEO of Compton Petroleum Corporation and prior to this, was the Executive in Residence at the Alberta Department of Energy. Dr. Bogle was President and CEO of Holocene Equity Inc., a privately held equity company involved in energy and strategic consulting and private and public energy related investment. Previously, he was Chief Strategic Officer of Nexen International and was Executive Vice-President, Exploration for Talisman Energy. Dr. Bogle holds a Ph.D. (Geology), M.Sc. And B.Sc. (both in Geological Engineering) from Queen’s University. He is a Certified Director in Canada (ICD.D), a graduate of the Western Executive Program and a Registered Professional Geologist in Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. He has severed on numerous public and private company boards and related committees and currently serves as Chairman of the Magenta III Mortgage Investment Corporation and as a Director of Tamarind Energy, Condor Petroleum Inc., and Fogo Energy Corporation. Dr. Bogle is a member and Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Calgary Zoo.

Mr. Cohen is CEO of Full Cycle Energy Investment Management Limited, a Canadian energy investment fund. He was the founder, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Skope Energy. Prior to forming Full Cycle Limited in 2003, Mr. Cohen was a highly-ranked Canadian energy investment analyst throughout most of his career, with a focus on corporate strategies, business cycles, and technical assessments. Henry joined the investment industry in 1978, and worked as a retail broker, portfolio manager, investment banker and research manager.

Randy Eresman, P.Eng.

Mr. Eresman was Encana’s President & CEO from 2006 to 2013. At the time of the merger of Alberta Energy Company Ltd. with PanCanadian Energy Corporation in 2002, Mr. Eresman was appointed Executive Vice-President responsible for the Corporation’s Onshore North America Division and, in December 2002, he was appointed Encana’s Chief Operating Officer. He joined Alberta Energy Company Ltd. in 1980 and played key roles in oil and natural gas exploration and production, and the development of the AECO gas storage facility. He was appointed Vice-President, AEC Oil & Gas, a division of Alberta Energy Ltd., in 1996 and President, AEC Oil & Gas Partnership in 1999.

Ralph Scurfield

Mr. Scurfield is the President and CEO of Sunshine Village Corporation a major ski resort located in Banff National Park. Mr. Scurfield holds a B.A. from University of Alberta, a J.D. from Gonzaga University, a Certificate in Tourism Management from Simon Fraser University and a Certificate in Management Studies from the University of Oxford Advanced Management Program. Mr. Scurfield is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and State Bar of California. He is a member of WPO/YPO and a director of Marmot Basin ski resort in Jasper Alberta. He is a former Director of ATB Financial and was vice-chair of the Audit committee. Mr. Scurfield also served on the Governance Committee and Human Resources Committee of the ATB Financial Board.
